Cheryl is 3rd generation Myrtle Creek, Oregon
She worked as a nurse for 44 years
She shares her home with her husband Dr. Stan Donahoo,
Lilly a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and an 18 year old Dove.
With 6 children and 13 grandchildren Cheryl has still managed to be our guiding force for 23 years

John Vermeer our Manager
I was born and raised in Oregon. I moved to Alaska in the 70's and then back to Oregon in the 80's. My hobbies include gardening, woodworking and coin collecting.
I have worked with the public for 35 years now. about 18 of those years was operating my own business (Pleasant Pets & CO.) Most of my working life has been in Management. I attended UCC for 2 years-Business Management.
I have had birds for over 40 years. Everything form Finches to Storks and Parrots to Ratites. While owning my own business I was Licenced by the State of Oregon to do wildlife rehabilitation, propagation and holding. I was also licenced by the federal government to handle any non-endangered animal in the world. I have worked with primates, marsupials, large felines, herbivores and insectivores.
All my life, my one true love has been animal-All of Gods creatures
